ABOUT 

Katie May is a photographer and creative mediator. Having spent over ten years crafting an established career in advertising, she is a natural communicator, able to distil the message of creative journeys with warmth and finesse. In 2016 and after living in London for over two decades she decided to move to the Italian Alps where she has built a photography/creative studio with her partner Riccardo Monte. In this small Italian mountain village Ornavasso, Katie found the silence and space to pick up her camera again.

"Photography is a way of life for me. I have always had a camera in my hand and an eye for beauty and nature. 

I believe the enjoyment I receive from taking photos feeds through to the pictures I make. I have a depth of experience in this field from travelling nine months in India and the Himalayas to shooting dozens of weddings. This has taught me how to master flexibility, to be creative, to work fast, style and direct. But most importantly I have learnt connection and how to bring a positive energy to wherever and whoever I shoot and collaborate with. "
